The annual Northwest vascular meeting was held on the 16th October at the Holiday Inn hotel, Haydock. It was well attended and the Guest speaker was Professor Julian Scott, the president of the vascular society of GB and Ireland. The meeting was concluded with dinner during which the winning research abstract was announced (A Decade of Fenestrated Stent-Grafting in a Single UK Centre). It was presented by Mr J Scurr on behalf of Mr A Millen from the Royal Liverpool hospital.
